1. Conduct trainings/workshops on epidemiology, research methodology, biostatistics and data analysis software in order to develop efficient health workforce.
2. Organize national/regional/international conferences in the field of epidemiology and public health.
3. Organize seminar/symposium to disseminate epidemiological knowledge and create awareness about national and international health scenario.
4. Publish newsletter/journal to update professionals and community with latest epidemiological information.

1. Epidemiological Association of Bangladesh organized 9th South East Asia Regional Scientific Meeting in collaboration with Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh during 9-12 February, 2008 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. More than 120 papers were presented in the meeting.
2. One pre-meeting workshops was also organized on “How to write in Science; what editors want” which was facilitated by Editors, International Journal of Epidemiology, Prof. George Davy Smith, and Prof. Shah Ebrahim.
3. Organized seminar on “Child hood Drowning Prevention in Bangladesh” on 23rd February 2011. National Professor MR Khan was chief guest of the seminar. Prof. Staffan of Karlstad University Sweden and Dr. Aminur Rahman of CIPRB presented their papers in that occasion.
4. EPAB included in the WHO Network for Epidemiology in 2010.
5. Organized Seminar on Nipah Infection on 23rd July 2011. Professor Mahmudur Rahman, Director, Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research presented the keynote paper.
6. Organized Seminar on " Chikungunya Fever: An Emerging Disease" on 18th February 2012. Dr. Apurba Chakaraborty from ICDDR,B and Dr. ASM Alamgir from WHO presented papers in the seminar.
